Whenever I hear Black and White Party, I always have the impression that it's going to be a fab one. That's why I got giddy when I got invited to the Black and White event prepared by L'Oreal exclusively for bloggers held last Monday.
As soon as I registered, I had a picture taken with the L'Oreal background and was given this fancy gift. I didn't get the chance to take a photo of my outfit that day though that's why I'm still waiting for the photo to be posted on their Facebook page.
I got the chance to speak with Mr. Sep Camafranca, Product Manager of L'oreal Paris - Derme and Body Expertise, Men Expert before the event and asked why it was themed Black and White. According to him, they were launching the White Perfect Day Moisturizer for women and the Pure and Matte Bright Charcoal Black Foam for Men.
L'Oreal Paris White Perfect Transparent Rosy Whitening Day CreamSPF17/PA++. With the slogan "Melanin-Vanish 1 Drop, 50x More Powerful", it claims to give the skin a rosy glow and helps reduce dark spots by stopping the melanin production up to 95% and de-pigmenting existing melanin.
Pure and Matte Bright Charcoal Black Foam. Said to help improve the skin by tightening the pores and reducing blackheads. It also deeply cleans and removes the oil to keep the face matte for a longer period.

My favorite! L'Oreal makeup.
Kamae de Jesus hosted the event. Very pretty and bubbly!
Several games were prepared for the bloggers. Too bad I wasn't lucky that day our team never won haha.
They had to guess what's in the photo behind their back. The winners got L'oreal mascara, tweezers and eyelash curler as their prizes.
The second game was Jeopardy. All questions related to L'Oreal. Our team became competitive with Tara and Crickette in it. But the questions we chose were difficult so we lost again haha.
According to the people behind L'Oreal, they believe in the power of blogging. They organized that event to get to meet the people behind those blogs they read everyday and show their appreciation to what we are doing. That was very nice to hear. Blogging requires hardwork and passion. I just blog about the things I love until I realized that people are reading it. Then I started receiving comments and emails, attending events, making friends and sharing each others' view about the common things we like. Blogosphere is indeed a very large community! Thank you L'Oreal for recognizing that and for the very fun event!
Vinvin and Mau. I wish I had a chance to take photos of the other bloggers who attended as well.
When I got home, I checked the gold gift box and it contains the two products launched. Each of us were also given Total Repair Treatments. I've been using them for 2 days now and I'm loving them. Watch our for my review soon!
As for my make-up, I was quite in a rush that day so I chose to put on a simple eye color and a bright red lipstick. It's a standout make-up which is very easy and quick to apply. I'm loving the Occ Lip Tar...will post about it very soon :)
