Pau's bday @ Super Bowl

It was my hubby's birthday last Saturday 022209 =). He was quite tired coz he and his ofcmates had a team building at Tagaytay the night before. So instead of exhausting ourselves preparing party foods, we just opted to celebrate it by having lunch with his mom and dad.

Mann Hann was our first choice but unfortunately there were sooo many people in line so Pau's mom suggested Super Bowl as an alternative.

Bday boy and meee

Mama and Papa

While waiting for our food, they gave us free chicharap (Is that how they call this?)

Dimsum platter

This is currently 50% off. We only paid P127/$2.54 for this.

Tofu with Mushrooms

(Does anyone of you know how to rotate the pics? I'm so dumb I can't figure it out arrghh haha.)

Sweet & Sour Fish

Papa getting the Yang Chow Fried Rice

When I first tried Super Bowl (about 2 years ago maybe)...I was not really happy with their food. I can't remember why. But last Saturday, I was really satisfied. Their food is quite affordable too. We only paid P800+/$16+ for all of these.

The SuperBowl in SM Megamall is located at the 4th level Building A (correct me if I'm wrong) in the newly renovated part. I'm really glad SM decided to add that part. They got so many cool stores and restos now. hehe

Have a nice day everyone!

Hello beauty bloggers! I've had these items for quite a while and it's just now that I have free time and interest lol..to blog about them.

When my dad confirmed that he is coming here last January...I asked my youngest sister (who is in Florida) if she could buy some stuff from Sephora for me and I'll just pay her. makeover for Angel

I got a text yesterday from Angel saying "Hi Ate Kim! I'm going to attend a wedding tomorrow. Can you do my makeup? Are you free?"....told her "Sure...what type of makeup do you want?"..."Just a simple, neutral look"...."Okiedokie =)"

She was supposed to go to our house around 11am but she wasn't feeling well that morning so she asked me if she could come 12:30pm instead. Texted her "Sure..what time is the wedding?". But she didn't reply. (Don't worry Angel! I understand and it's really ok hehehe...just completing my story =D)When she got here, asked her again "What time is the wedding?"...she said "1:30pm". "OMG! We have to hurry...are you part of the entourage or just a guest?"......"No, guess whose wedding is it?"....."uhmmmm"...."it's my wedding ate kim!"

Whoooaaaaa...I didn't know I was going to do a makeup for a wedding in just 30 mins wth! But she said it's just a civil wedding and she really wanted it simple...olrighty! hehehe. I really tried my best I promise!. I wish I could have taken better pics if we have more time =(. But she said it's pretty and she liked it anyway so I'm happy. Thank you so much Angel and i wish you all the happiness! Take care of yourself and the baby =D

Review: Avon Liquid Eyeliner

This product is one of my first liquid eye liners. As the pictures below show, this has been on my makeup kit for quite a long time now hahaha but I still use it every now and then...I've had it for approximately a year now and I believe i need to give justice to this by giving a good review.

What I like about this product:

1) It has the best applicator among the liquid eye liners I have.
2) It's affordable. If I remember correctly, I got this on sale at Glorietta for only 200 bucks.
3) It dries really fast.
4) It doesn't smudge.

What I don't like:
1) When I tried applying it on my waterline before, it hurt a little a few secs after application.

What else??? hmmm...that's all I could think of. I'll definitely buy this product again once I've finished some of my liners =) I've already added this to my list of good stuff. Or if they go on sale again...I'll definitely buy the black one. haha

How about you? What's your favorite eye liner? Give me suggestions please =D

Nail Extensions by Tips and Toes

It took me 2 months of nail care (putting on nail strengthener and nutrition...) just to get me nails long enough for a french tip. I really wanted that nail style for my wedding...simple yet elegant.

Unfortunately, my nail cracked a day before my big day waaaahhhh. So I asked my sister-in-law to go with me to SM Megamall and look for a salon that offers fake nails services or whatever but we didn't find any except for Tips and Toes Nail Salon. However (again!!!), all their staff were booked that day already. The girl on the reception said I could wait until 7pm that day if there's a client that will cancel...I told myself I can't risk that anymore..huhu. So we asked her to call their other branches if they have available staff to do it for me. Thank God there's one in Greenbelt1.

Nail extensions by Tips and Toes

This is really amazing esp for emergency cases like what I have experienced. Pretty nails in an instant! According to the lady, this can last for a month. How much did I pay for this? P1200/$24. It's quite pricey but it's worth it....I love tips and toes! Thank you so much!

I'm back and a gift from dad...

Finally I'm backkkk!!! I missed blogspot so much. If you're wondering why I was MIA for almost a month, well...it's because I was busy preparing for my wedding hehehe. A one year preparation just finished in a snap hahaha. But it was successful. We've got the raw pictures already but it's soooo hard to choose =((((

Back to the topic, my dad came here from Florida to attend my wedding. And he surprised me with this!

I was asking for my sister's old camera but he bought me a new one instead. Isn't he sweet? I can now post better pictures yey!

At the airport. He gave his gift to me right away hahaha!

I spent an entire week playing with the settings harhar!

This is Oreo. He's my uncle's dog. He's my favorite among his 3 dogs so sweet!

My everyday look hahaha!

Dad sleeping and snoring...

Love this! haha

With my dad at Bonifacio High Street (ISO 3200). If you're wondering what happened to his face.....he got his warts removed coz it costs way way cheaper here than in the US. He'll kill me if he sees this haha!

My dad is now back in the US...I miss him already =(
