Current Fave: Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-In-Place Makeup and Palgantong Theatrical Powder

During the middle of our makeup work for the Board of Directions of STI a few weeks ago, my makeup artist friend who was with me til morning commented "ang tibay ng makeup mo!". We were together for almost 7 hours (I think!) and when I checked the mirror, yeah my makeup was still intact and no shine, in fairness! whooaaa. Well...it's not actually the first time that I've proven the strength of the power combo that I've been using during events and gigs where I need my makeup to stay without much retouch.

And because I love sharing great beauty discoveries in this blog, let me present to you my favorite combo at the moment: Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation and Palgantong Theatrical Powder.

Palgantong Theatrical Loose Powder from Beauty and Minerals. This powder is the best makeup I've used for oil control. It also makes the finish smoother.

Estee Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-place Makeup. This is a very durable makeup that's easy to blend and doesn't cake (at least for me). I love love love it.

And very recently, I like using my new Charm Flat Top brush in applying the Palgantong. It's my first flat top brush ever! It's just so soft and feels nice on my skin. Its flat top surface helps me push the powder on my problem areas better and use a swirling motion for blending. Some use it in applying liquid foundation but I haven't tried it yet. So far, I find this brush very chic and useful.
