EVENT: Nina L'Elixir Launch

Have you watched this new advertising campaign of Nina L'Elixir? Ever since I got this on my email, I kept on playing this over and over again when I want to lift up my spirit. I just love everything on it: the Sunday girl music, the new Nina L'Elixir girl Florie Arnold who is an English singer, drummer and song-writer (she's pretty and good!), the hair and makeup and the whole concept of the music video.

Why Florie Arnold fit to be the new ambassador of Nina Ricci?

Florie is a young Bristish artist that offers her own sensual take on up-beat and fun pop music. Her innocent elegance, graceful allure, distinct tone, musical creativity perfectly reflects the new Nina.

The concept of the music video:

Dress: flurry of pastel tones. Symbolizes a fragrant cloud of powder which means femininity worn lightly without constraints.

Accessories: The necklaces, bracelets and rings used in the video have geometric edge and their abstract shapes inspired by the famous Lalique crystal bottle stoppers of Nina Ricci. It's a way of interpreting the legacy of the perfume with passion.

Fairytale Concept: The new Nina L'Elixir is magical and bewitching just like this modern and timeless fairytale concept.

Nina L'Elixir is for modern women who know how to play on their natural charm and have fun with it. It has an addicting feminine fresh scent with:

Top Notes: Sparkling Calabrese Citrus, Caipirinha Lime
Middle Notes: Sweet Toffee Apple, Sembac Jasmine, Red Fruits
Base Notes: Sensual Cedarwood, Whitemusk and Warm Amber

THE BOTTLE: It's a jewel-like crystalline apple-shaped bottle that emphasizes sensuality with its intoxicating gradation of tones, from golden transparency through to deep red.

Last May 31, I attended the Nina Ricci L' Elixir launch at the Prestige in Makati. The stage was decorated with white, pinks and apples.

It was a night of modern fairytale as a band opened the event with hip pop music to set the mood for the night.

The night was made even more exciting as hosted by DJ Mojo Jojo of Magic 89.9 and Ms. Ella of The Prestige Brands.

With Maan of Paul & Joe. Thanks for the photo!

I got a sample of this perfume and what I can say right now is it really smells good. It has that lasting sensual scent but just right that you can even wear this during day time.

I end this post with a nice quote from Robert Ricci: "A perfume should be a work of art, the object that contains it should be a masterpiece".
