Current Facial Wash: Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub Foam

A friend of mine gave me this Skinfood BlackSugar Scrub Foam from Korea a few months ago. When I first saw it, I wondered "What is Black Sugar?". And based from my research:

Black sugar is rich in vitamins and minerals. It contains saccharides that helps remove keratin, blackheads and waste. Also, the abundant minerals and vitamins in black sugar help improve blood circulation, keeping skin clear and healthy.

According to Skinfood website, their black sugar cleansing range contains sucrose of Brazilian Organic Black Sugar for deep hydration. Exfoliates dead skin cells effectively with full nano nutrition and does not reap skin of its natural moisture.

Look! I think I'll be running out of this product anytime soon. I've been using this since January.

The sugar granules are quite big. You can really feel them on the first few scrubs but dissolves afterwards. I love that it leaves my skin really clean and smooth after rinsing. However, I don't recommend using this when you have large acnes or facial wounds as the scrubbing might hurt. I also think this is not recommended for those who have super sensitive skin because large scrubs might cause irritation.

Look how clean and smooth my skin was after scrubbing. The product smells great too! I kinda expected a sweet scent out of this product, but it was citrusy. I like it because it the scent leaves a feeling of freshness and cleanliness.

Overall, I won't hesitate buying a second tube of Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub Foam. It is one of the products that is compatible with my skin. After months of using it, I didn't have any major breakouts. I also love using it especially at night as the clean feeling and the lovely smell it leaves on the skin helps me relax and get a good sleep.

Happy weekend everyone!

Thanks for this great review! I read it and decided to buy it myself as well. I've also written a review about it here: http://madaboutmyskin.blogspot.ca/2012/09/review-skinfood-black-sugar-scrub-foam.html
