Product Review: Elianto's Green Tea Lip & Eye Make-up Remover

Hi ladies! Today I'm going to give you a review of Elianto's Green Tea Lip & Eye Make-up Remover.

For those who know nothing about this product yet, it is a Malaysian brand that emerged into the Philippine market in 2006. Elianto, which means sunflower in Italian, caters beauty products for younger women. Best-sellers include baked eyeshadows, blushers, nail enamels and various skin care products.

One of the first I've tried from them is this:

As I've mentioned in my Body Shop Camomile Gentle Make-up Remover Review, I use this to remove heavy makeup.

What it says:

This gentle formula easily removes all waterproof and long-wearing eye makeup and lipsticks, leaving skin clean, supple and free from oil residue.

Green tea - naturally rich in anti-oxidants, helps skin cell rejuventation and protects your skin from free radicals.

Here's how I use it:

Not that heavy makeup but I used waterproof eyeliner and mascara today. I tie my hair evertime I clean my face.

It's like oil and has a bit runny consistency.

Shake well before using. Usually 5 drops is enough for me.

Spread gently onto your face. I like doing it in a circular, outward motion. Apply more if needed.

See? my makeup got removed almost 90% after doing that. Using a cotton pad/ball, clean the remaining dirt.

Wash your face to clean it totally (I do this because I still feel the oil after wiping it). I'm currently using "The Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash".

Don't you just love the feeling of a clean face? =D

Note: I don't use long-wearing lipsticks so I haven't tried this on my lips yet.

I love:

- how it removes waterproof stuff almost instantly. It works for me.
- its light scent. I'm a fan of green tea that's why.
- that it's affordable and available locally.
- non-drying. It leaves my skin smooth =D
- non-irritating

I don't like:

- not true as to what it says that it leaves skin from oil residue...I still have to wash my face after to remove it. If you're fine having an additinal step to your routine, then this product is worth trying.
- it would have been better if it comes with a pump. Sometimes I tend to pour too much on my hands wasting the product.

Here are other reviews I've found about this product:

Will I buy this again?

Yes! I'm not really the type who would spend too much on removers *wink*. I find that this a great deal already. But of course, I'll still try other makeup removers out there ...I'm not loyal LOL =P

I've already started using the Shu Uemura balancing cleansing oil that I got from the Loreal event. I feel that it is kinda similar to this =D so watch out for my review soon...

Available at any Elianto store.

Have you used this product? What are your thoughts?

Cool! you are so cute! Hmm..I am looking for a makeup remover to totally remove even the hardest to remove waterproof liner and mascara, I think I'm left to try Lancome bifacil which is quite pricey :( Thanks for the review
