Review: CoverGirl Fantastic Lash

Share

It’s must for me to curl my lashes and apply mascara everyday coz I’ve got super small eyes with super thin and short lashes =D I’ve tried several brands already but the one that currently works best on me is the CoverGirl Fanastic Lash.

Covergirl.com - Fan your lashes out! The breakthrough mascara has a formula that builds lash thickness smoothly and evenly, delivering a beautiful fan of thick lashes with superb volume, separation and definition - without clumps or spikes. Available in Straight Brush, Curved Brush and Waterproof.

I chose waterproof coz I tend to blink a lot. Yaiks! But the fact that it’s gonna ruin my makeup prevents me from doing that =D

My natural lashes

My lashes after curling and applying 2 coats of Covergirl Fantastic Lash mascara.

What I like about it: 1) Hold curls all day. (it doesn’t fail me yet). 2) Doesn’t clump if applied correctly. 3) Affordable (I got it for less than P400+/$8+ at SM Megamall) 4) Exaggerates/thickens the lashes. (For me, there’s no need to use a primer with this) 5) Gives True, shiny black color.

What I don’t like: 1) Smells different :~c (I don’t mind though as long as it works) 2) The tube is kinda fat (it takes a lot of space on my kit). But I don’t bring it with me anymore coz (as I mentioned above) it holds on curls all day.

This mascara is nearly getting 6-months old. I’m excited to discover another brand that works the same or even better on me. Have you found your HG mascara? What can you recommend?

for drugstore brand, Maybelline really works :)

I agree with Nikki. But my current love is L'Oreal Voluminous. But since it's not available in the country, you can try Max Factor 2000 Calorie.

Fasio used to be my HG mascara although I got tired of removing it for minutes every night. But I swear! That mascara is miraculous! Haha. I'm not sure if you've tried it but if you haven't, I recommend it. It's below 500, too :)

I agree with Nikki, although my HG mascara from Maybelline is the Great Lash Discovery, which unfortunately, discontinued in the Phils :(

That's not bad for a drugstore mascara!

wow...thanks girls! I already have Maybelline volumizing mascara but CG works better for me. Can't wait to try the fasio and Max Factor 2000 Calorie first. I have to ask my sister to buy the Loreal and Majolica Majorca's mascara for me =D
