Delicious Hot Prawn Salad Recipe

I love ordering this when we dine at a Chinese restaurant. However, prawn dishes can be quite expensive so if you have time to cook them at home, that's better. I love ordering this when we eat at a Chinese resto but it’s so simple to make and cheaper. [INGREDIENTS:] For the Crispy Shrimps: Marinate with salt, pepper, and Spanish Paprika. How Prawn Salad Ingredients:

For the Salad:

1 cup of prawns, peeled and deveined. I used frozen shrimps in my video

Lettuce or any greens of your choice. I also added cucumbers

1 cup fruit cock tail

For the Shrimp Marinade:


1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp Spanish Paprika
optional - a squeeze of lemon juice and chili flakes (adjust to your spice preference)

For the Dressing:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tbsp condensed milk

1 tbsp fruitcocktail juice

Instructions:

1. Marinate the Prawns:

In a mixing bowl, chili flakes, salt, pepper, Spanish paprika or lemon juice if you want some citrus in your shrimp.

Add the prawns to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are well coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes while you prepare the other salad ingredients.

Coat each shrimp with the flour and cornstarch mixture.

Fry the shrimps into medium high heat until crispy.


2. Prepare the Dressing:

In a low heat pan, add your mayonnaise, condensed milk, fruit cocktail and fruit cocktail juice. Whisk and add the fried shrimps. Coat everything with the Sauce.


3. Top it in a bed of lettuce of any greens of your choice.

Serve your Hot Prawn Salad immediately as a satisfying and delicious meal!
