I've tried most of the most known Katsu places in the Philippines and the one that I currently like the most is Fumizen. They have a branch in Tokyo and they currently have 2 branches in the Philippines. Fumizen has captured our family's hearts and taste buds with its extraordinary take on Japanese cuisine.
What amazed me is the inclusions in their Rice set meal. If you order it, you'll get unlimited seasonal fruit, chuka wakame, potato salad, Japanese rice, Miso soup, and shredded cabbage. They also have complimentary Roasted Barley Tea, Talk about sulit!

My husband and I love Fumizen's Hire Set. We prefer our Katsu without fat. The quality of the meat is so good. It's thick, tasty, and tender. Perfectly cooked everytime!
My son's favorite food is always Katsudon. He tries the Katsudon in every Japanese place we go to. He said this is one of the best.
We also loved the ambiance in Fumizen's branch in Shangri-la mall. It's a space that exudes elegance and tranquility. The restaurant's interior design combines modern aesthetics with subtle Japanese influences, creating a welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere.

We also wanted the kids to taste the katsu we've been raving about.
