Another Way to Enjoy your Favorite Corned Beef: Crispy Corned Beef

I'd like to share with you how I like cooking my corned beef. It's called Crispy Corned Beef. Grabe, this is so delicious. My family don't like corned beef before because they don't like the oil. But when it comes to adobo flakes and sisig type of food, they tend to eat a lot.

This is so easy to make but it takes around 10 minutes to make the corned beef crispy. You need to be patient to enjoy a very delicious and hearty breakfast.

Watch and try to make this after:

@iamkimrodz Simula nong na try ko tong Crispy Corned Beef ganito na lagi yung way ko ng pagluluto nito. Kung mahilig ka sa mga crispy, magugustuhan mo din to. #fyp #foryoupage #breakfastidea #breakfastideasforkids #purefoodscornedbeef #crispycornedbeef #famco #super_nonstick_pan #nonstickpan ♬ original sound - Kim Tan-Rodriguez

Foodie Tipid Tip: How To Get a Discount at Ramen Nagi

Since we're a family who loves to eat outside, I and my husband are always on the lookout for discounts and great deals that would allow us to save money while still enjoying the food that we love. Recently, someone commented on one of my videos about how he uses the app EATIGO to get a discount at The Alley which I recently posted.

The curious cat in me searched what the deals and when we saw that the Ramen Nagi in Glorietta 2 offers 50% discount at their 11 am slot, we booked it right away. One thing to note, you should arrive at the time you booked on time or your booking will be canceled automatically. Second, if you really want the deal that you saw, book it right away because the slots they offer are only limited.

We've been a customer of Ramen Nagi for years. I like it because I find that it's the closest to the famous ramen in Japan, Ichiran. As in, magkalasa lang sila for me. Watch the video I made for the ramen we ordered.
@iamkimrodz We recently discovered Eatigo through a comment in one of my posts. Love na namin ang app na to kasi nakakakuha kami ng discounts sa mga restos like Ramen Nagi since mahilig kami kumain talaga #fyp #foryoupage #eatigoph #eatigo #ramennagimanila #ramennagi #wonderkakuniramen #foodie #discounthack #tipidtip #foodvlog #foodtiktok #tiktokfoodie #foodtrip #wheretoeatph #tiktokeatsph ♬ original sound - Kim Tan-Rodriguez

Thanks Eatigo for this great deal! We'll constantly use your app for sure.

Our Visita Iglesia 2023

This year, we wanted our kids to experience a real Visit Iglesia because last year during the pandemic, we only passed by 7 churches, parked in front and prayed. My daughter has been begging me to show the church where we got married. Since there are a lot of churches around that area, I said "sure".

Here are the churches we went to last night:

1. Sanctuario de San Jose, Greenhills East - This is where we used to hear mass. We have a lot of friends and family who got married here. This is where Lana had her baptism too.
2. Mary the Queen, San Juan - This is the church near ICA and Xavier School. I like this church because it's quiet and you can easily park there at the side of ICA. There's also a famous bibingka store in front. Unfortunately, the line was so long. We didn't bother to buy anymore.
3. Mount Carmel Shrine, New Manila - this is only a few minutes from Mary the Queen Church. This is where my brother got married. This is a very huge church. I also had a lot of good memories here during my wedding makeup days before.
4. Sacred Heart Parish, Kamuning Q.C. - I used to live near here so I had flashbacks of walking to this church during Simbang Gabi. It was nice to visit here again.
5. Immaculate Conception Cathedral - This is where I was baptized, had my Confirmation and First Holy Communion. Pau and I also got married here. It was amazing to see my old school again and to show it to my kids.
6. Holy Family Parish, Kapitolyo - We decided to have the last 2 churches near our place in Mandaluyong. We often go to this church because it's not too crowded and it's a nice church.
7. San Roque Parish, Barangka Ibaba Mandaluyong - This is where we usually have mass when we don't want to travel far and bring our car anymore. It's just one tricycle ride from our place.

I'm so happy that we finally did this. It was hard to park on some churches but we were surprised that we got lucky this time. Some people don't even bother to check the main parking space of the church and just park on the side streets. We want our kids to understand the true meaning of Holy Week and I think we were successful on that part.
