I remember during the course of my pregnancy circa 2009, I only wear makeup during special occasions and I only use mineral makeup as it is said to be safe and free from the ingredients suspected to be harmful to our health. Yes I was very conscious with all the products that touch my skin back then. But after that, I went back to my usual routine and I haven't been able to use mineral makeups for about 2 years now.
Good thing I got to choose some samples of Virgina Olsen mineral makeup. Visit their online shop to see check out their products also.
A pot (150 g) of eyeshadow costs P150. Very reasonable right? And this pot will last for a very long long long time even if you use this everyday.
The shades I got are Lilac, Plum-lovin' and Tulips. You see some shimmers in these swatches but not that noticeable when applied on the eyes. What I like about Virginia Olsen mineral makeup is not only that they're safe to use, they're also long-wearing, weightless, water-resistant and fragrance free.
I haven't really tried them on myself that much but when I used the Tulips color on one of my bridal gigs, I love how beautiful it blended on my client's skin and how it lasted until the end of the celebration.
