Covergirl Lipstick Bullets Pinks and Corals: Mini Review and Swatches

I am not a lipstick person. But one product impressed me so much that it has been a staple in my makeup traincase. I'm totally hooked! And the product I'm talking about is the newly released bullet lipsticks of Covergirl. I got more shades of pink and corals so I have more options for bridal makeup gigs.

Scroll down for swatches.

Why I like it:

- Color selections are so pretty
- Staying power is superb! Especially the darker ones. It leaves a stain on your lips even after drinking or eating. And it's kinda hard to remove ha! Perfect for bridal :)  I've never experienced this with a lipstick below P500.
- Non-drying. According to CG, it actually softens lips because of its Silk Therapy Complex which is a moisturizing property that goes beyond application. It sustains moisture levels on the lips to actually improve lip condition over time. In over a month of usage, I hardly notice improvement on my lips' texture. But compared when I was using long-wearing lip colors from other brands, this one doesn't hurt or cause chapped lips.
- Priced P395. Affordable!

What I don't like?
- Hmmm I can't think of any. CG Bullet lipsticks comes in matte and frosted colors. I've read reviews that some do not like the frosted ones. For me, I like the ones I got. It's just a matter of preference. With the huge selection of shades, I'm sure you could find one that compliments your skin tone.
- Shades are always out of stock! But congratulations to CG! This new lipstick line is very saleable! So be sure to check the CG counters often if you're eyeing for a particular shade especially the Hot Passion (the one Drew Barrimore was wearing on the ad)

I doubted this one for a second because it looked too pale when I swatched it. But with the right base, color turns out to be very pretty.

I actually got a few more but got tired of swatching. I'll let my lips rest for a while :) Watch out for the next batch.
