Have you experienced a color wash out after coloring your hair? I usually color my hair at home on my own and I notice that still happens even after 3-4 washes. Or sometimes if I have it done in a salon, the color wouldn't be that brilliant and nice after washing at home that I feel it's a waste of money. The reason for this is that the foam and friction from typical shampoos can prevent color pigments from being well-anchored on hair according to Kerastase.
They've recently released a new product called CHROMA SENSITIVE. It's the first cleansing balm that prevents color bleeding after hair coloring thus making the color last for a longer period. It consists of 1/4 cleansing base which is reduced in tensio-active agents and 3/4 caring base which is rich in anti-oxidant Vitamin E. It's paraben-free, silicone-free and sulfate-free.
This product is used like a hair masque after hair coloring. It has a light-cream texture and don't expect it to lather much like a shampoo. Use it with smoothing movements to help the treatment gently penetrate. Excited much! I've tried it twice already even though my hair is not freshly colored haha :) The scent is not as enticing as the other Kerastase hair treatments but I really like how smooth my hair feels after using it.
I'm planning to color my hair in a few weeks to see its effectiveness in sealing hair color. I miss the days when my sisters and I would buy a box of hair coloring treatment and color each other's hair. I'm sure they'll be thrilled to try this product as well.
This product costs: Php 1,425
Hair Color Sealing Treatment using Chroma Sensitive, Pixelist and Chroma Protect Creme is also available for Php 1,500 on leading salons featuring Kerastase products.
Permanent hair color gives the most flexibility because it can make hair lighter or darker as well as changing tone and color
