The Body Shop's Brush With Fashion Event

By this time, you've probably seen the new makeup line in The Body Shop's store display. Brush With Fashion spring makeup collection is a new limited edition makeup line of The Body Shop. It will only be available until end of March 2011 so read on if you don't wanna be left out of the latest offerings of The Body Shop.

When I arrived at the event, I immediately noticed this purple clutch bag on our table. I sneaked a peek to check what's inside:

Lipglosses and Tailored Cheek Tint - Php1,095

The Tailored Cheek Tint is one of a kind. If I'm going to purchase from this collection, I'd definitely get this one. It has only one shade but it adapts to the body temperature. According to TBS, it turns orange-y while pinkish to some. Because I've tried it a couple of times, I can say that it's very easy to use because it's a gel-type product and dries easily on the skin making it smudge-proof. I like that the blush appear naturally as well just like the Lip and Cheek tint.

Illuminating Face Base - Php 1,195

If you like the TBS Lightening Touch, you'll definitely love this one too. This one has a bigger brush incorporated to highlight larger areas more easily.

Boho Beauty Eye Shadow Quad - Php 2,195

Brush with Fashion. For this collection, The Body Shop collaborated with the London College of Fashion to create a new limited edition, cruelty-free and sustainable makeup. The products come in recyclable product packaging designed by Katarina Voloder, a first-year Fashion Illustration student at the London College of Fashion. According to Ann Massal, International Brand and Innovation Director for The Body Shop, this is "the first of an exciting series of partnerships with the world of fashion".

Notice that all of the products include an integrated brush, making them convenient for travel or touch ups on the go.

And for the perks: For every P3500 worth of purchase from the collection, you'll get a free eco bag. I love the Brush with Fashion print with Mrs. AMW :)
