Babywearing is Love!

When Liam turned 6 months old, I've become a babywearing mom. And I still do it with my 2nd and love wearing her whenever we go out.

Why I wear my baby? It's because I'm a believer of attachment parenting. We enjoy each other's warmth and Lana never as in never (yet!) in her 15 months of life had tantrums when we're out. It was also very minimal for my first born. Enjoying every minute while my baby still wants to be carried. And lastly, I hate waiting for elevators during the times we brought a stroller with us.

Let me show you the carriers I've used so far.

This is a Saya. I've used this till Liam was 2 years old and Lana's first 6 months. It's lightweight and very easy to wear. But when we're out for long, my back hurts a little bit. Since I've heard a lot of raves about soft structured carriers through the Babywearing Philippines group in FB, I decided to purchase one. SSCs (Soft Structured Carrier) are expensive. I literally begged for my hubby to buy me one haha.

This is Boba Air carrier. It's very lightweight, comfortable and very easy to use. It's material is like that of a jacket. Bought it for P3650 at Babyland Shaw Blvd. I even used it during our Boracay trip last January. However, when I wear my baby with this for more than 3 hours, my back still hurts and it leaves some marks on my baby's thighs (which goes away after a few hours of removing it btw). So I decided to purchase another one. A softer one and the price is only a bit higher than this.

This is a Jumpsac carrier made in Malaysia.I love it! It's heavier but more comfortable for my baby and I. It doesn't hurt my back and waist and I find the locks more secure. Got it for only P5,000 from MommAmazing and King mommy seller. She imports different baby carriers that passed the security standards from abroad.

I can even go out with my 2 kids on my own when wearing my baby Lana. That's why I love it so much!

Get Ready for Summer with Robinson's Department Store

In less than two weeks, my son would be graduating from preschool. And that means SUMMER is coming! He's already so excited by the way because we went to the beach last January and he had the grandest time of his life there.

After giving birth to my baby Lana I gained weight darn....what's new? And I only have a few weeks left to work on that and to find nice outfits that would not make me look like a momma!

Of course my first choice would be going to the major malls near my place here in Mandaluyong. I love shopping at Robinson's department store. It's not crowded and they've got almost all that I need.

Their summer outfits include brands like Angelfish (they've got trendy bikini tops and cover-ups that works as a chic top cover to different outfits and also Sassa which is my first choice when it comes to swim suits. They're affordable, chic, and won't break the bank.

For skin care, Nivea is always available at Robinson's department store. I trust their sunblock lotion. It's what I use for me and my kids whenever we go to the beach.

For eyewear, Hawaiian Sun gives us a lot of options to show off our distinct, individual eye style.
