Achieve a radiant skin with Estee Lauder's Idealist Cooling Eye and Face Illuminator

Can you read the words engraved in the mirror? It says "Imagine having nothing to hide". Most women use makeup and concealer to cover acne marks, dark under eyes, skin discolorations and other imperfections. For some women who doesn't have that much skin dilemma, they wear makeup to add more radiance to their skin.

Our friends from Estee Lauder were very excited to introduce to us two of their new products: Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator and Face Illuminator to address those concerns. It was a huge hit in the US and apparently, the first batch of stocks here in the Philippines has been sold out in just a few days. They've prepared for that expected demand so for those who are planning to get, don't worry!

I attended the launch of these products held at The Goose Station, Fort Bonifacio last Thursday. The food experience prepared to us by the Estee Lauder team deserved a separate post so watch out for it. As for now, I'll talk about these products:



Estee Lauder's Idealist Cooling Eye Illuminator

According to Estee Lauder, there are three key sources that lead to dark circles and puffiness: Lack of micro-circulation/weak capillary structure, hyperpigmentation and irritation. That's why they came up with this product that instantly brightens and blurs the imperfections of the eye-area's skin surface and neautralize the look of discoloration. It promises visible results (improved look of dark circles and puffiness) in just two weeks and a more dramatic improvement with continued use.

What's interesting about this product is its patent-pending specially-contoured ceramic tip applicator. It is used to massage the cream on the eye area.

Here's a photo of me trying this product for the first time. The cool feeling it gives helps re-energize the look of tired-puffy eyes. I like it!

Estee Lauder's Idealist Even Skintone Illuminator. This is an intensive, oil-free serum specifically designed for Asian skin that promises a more even and radiant skin tone in just 2 weeks.

Here's my first swatch of the product. First impression, it gives the skin instant luminosity. Incorporate this in any of your beauty regimen and use this before your moisturizer for that instant oomph in your everyday look.  SRP: 5,450.
