Kim Kardashian inspired EOTD

When it comes to smokey eyes, I like Kim Kardashian's signature smokey eye makeup. This makes her even more classy, chic, and sexy.

I tried to replicate her eye makeup from this pic but I used browns since I have fair features.

Is it somehow similar? hehehe.

If you want to know how I did it...keep on reading!

1) Apply an e/s base all over your lids.

I used Careline pencil e/s. The color is nude but it gives a bit of a pink shade when applied. I don't recommend this product though. It made the e/s so hard to blend.

2) Apply a light bronze color above your crease.

2) Apply a darker brown color on your outer V. Blend.
3) Line the lower half of your lashline using the dark brown e/s.

4) Apply a silver e/s on your lids and inner corner of the eyes. Blend.
5) Apply your favorite highlight color on your browbones.

6) Using a pencil eye liner, line your upper and lower lashlines. Slightly wing the ends and apply a little bit thicker than your usual.

7) I put on my falsies to make the look more dramatic like Kim's hehe.

8) Apply a light colored blush and a nude l/s so to get the most attention on your eyes. (I didn't do this step coz I removed this makeup right after I took photos hehe.)

Hope you like it =D

Tiendesitas Part 2

Pau's parents changed plans yesterday so I thought I wouldn't be able to see the event I blogged last Sunday at Tiendesitas. =(...Good thing Pau finally learned how to read my thoughts hehehe. We decided to go there by ourselves instead.

When we arrived, it was the Siberian Husky competition already. All of them were so adorable. It's only during these events I'm able to see different colors/looks of this breed. I love most the baby husky on the lower left of the pic below.

We strolled to see the other breeds ("The cute ones") being prepared for their turn. These babies are like celebrities being dressed up for their shoot haha.

We didn't wait for the judges to announce the winners coz we're so hungry already. I checked out the vanity fair on the other side but nothing really appealed to me except the Monave booth but I'm on shopping hiatus mode right now hehehe.

Paupau's not feeling well yesterday and the only thing I know that will make him happy and alive in an instant is pizza!!! hehehe. So I brought him to one of his favorites... Aveneto!

We have different favorite so we ordered per slice. I ordered the Howie's special (with anchovies and garlic..I like salty foods...tsk tsk!) and Pau had New England's best (something that has everything on it).

For the pasta, we had Oil and Garlic with Shrimps. One of Aveneto's best Pasta (it has a star on their menu hehehe) . I like it's savory taste and the fact that it's cooked with Olive Oil and garlic is less guilt.

One order is good for 2-3 persons.

For our dessert, we had the Limited Edition flavors of Nestle.

3 scoops of only P5. This is the reason why I'm gaining weight! arrggghhh haha.

After our lunch, we went to SM Megamall to check out some furnitures and appliances. We also went to the Travel Fair at the 5th level to find out that it's not only a travel fair but also a food fair hehehe.

I had freshly brewed coffee from Cafe Amadeo and Takoyaki balls from Samurai.

Whew....walking and eating all day can be really exhausting. But it's my ideal way of spending my weekend =D

EOTD: gold, pink, green, blue

Hi everyone! How's your Saturday? ... If you ask me, I had a very tiring day (but happy =D). We spent our morning inspecting our condo. Hopefully, we'll be able to move in before April 15 yey! (***wink***wink***). I'm so excited. It's a smaller place but it's something we could call our own. We sacrificed a lot to be able to have that haha. We also went to the mall to look for the things we need for our new hive =D

(Makeup related!) I decided to use the Estee Lauder palette my mom gave me a few months ago. This is one of the things I have that I has been neglected for quite a while. (Sorry mom! :c) It's hard to make some of the colors on this palette appear. But excellent staying power! I had it the entire day and nothing changed much. lol!

Here's how I did my look for today:

1) Apply e/s primer. I used my ever favorite P&J e/s primer.

2) Apply the gold e/s above your crease.

I used the upper third color from the left.

3) Apply a medium green e/s on the outer half of your crease.

4) Blend.

5) Apply a dark blue e/s on your outer v.

6) Blend.

7) Wet your shader brush using H20/facial mist/mixing medium. I did this to intensify the color a bit. Apply a light pink e/s on your lids. Blend!

8) Highlight your browbone and inner corner of the eyes
9) Apply the dark green 3/s you used on the lower half of your lashline.

10) Apply your liner. (I used CS brown gel liner).
11) Curl your lashes and apply mascara.

Tadan....

2 months ago...one of Pau's mom's dogs gave birth to 4 male and 1 female puppies. The girl puppy is my favorite. She's just so lovable and sweet. I felt sad when Pau told me a while ago that someone's gonna buy her already. I'm gonna miss her soooo much.

She doesn't have a name yet but I call her Girlie haha.

And I just wanna show you Taray. She's also my favorite out of the 7 dogs of Pau's mom =D

I've only heard her bark once!!! =D

I wasn't able to take a pic of my dog chachamuch. He's also a cutie =D

Good night!

Eyebrow topic

I can go anywhere without makeup but I'm definitely not comfortable showing my face to anyone without fixing my eyebrows. Are you like that too?

I can show you this pic though =D:

I have thin, light and scattered eyebrows...ewwww

As every beauty enthusiats say...."Eyebrows are an important feature of the face because they give the face its shape and frame the facial features of eyes, nose, cheeks, mouth and chin. The eyebrows are one of the few facial features that can be shaped to enhance the beauty of the face."

I shape and trim my eyebrows. Don't like the idea of spending too much on threading and eyebrow shaping if I can do it myself. Although it's not perfect...at least it's decent =P

Here are the tools I use for my brows:

In2It brow kit

I've been using this for so long already. I like that I only apply it once and it stays the entire day. I cut the bristles of the brush included to make it stiffer. I find it easier to control with a brush like that.

Paul and Joe eye brow pencil 02.

I bought this as an alternative to my In2it. I've been using the In2it everyday and there are times that I just want to use something different.

A very great product. I like how natural it looks when you apply it. The other end is a bit darker for the hairless part and the other one is for shading. It's kinda expensive though so I'm saving it for special occasions. =D

Eye brow shaver

I use this to remove those irritating tiny hairs hehe and shaping my eye brows. I'm sooo lazy to pluck and I don't like to hurt myself!

brow gel

This holds the eyebrows in place throughout the day. Though for me, this is not very essential. I just use it if I want it to be perfect.

Here's my daily routine for my brows:

I usually start at the peak of the arch with the darker color on the kit. Then, I just follow the natural shape of my brows with the lighter color.

Smudge it using an eyebrow brush. This will make it more natural.

Did I miss anything? What other tools do you think are essential?...I'd love to know more!

It's friday again yipee...Happy weekend to all =D

EOTD: blue and silver

Yesterday, our boss emailed us regarding the dresscode policy blahblahblah. We have some potential clients visiting today so I chose an outfit which is a little bit formal (I usually wear just slacks and a t-shirt or any non-collared blouse with a jacket). I also chose to wear "a little bit sophisticated" eye makeup today to go with the "a little bit formal" outfit hahaha.

The face shop blue and silver duo

This duo is has been on my make-up case for a while now waiting for me to use it.

Here's how I did it:

1) Same as the 1st step on my post yesterday, apply an e/s primer.
2) Dab your blending brush into the silver e/s and apply it above the crease.

3) Line your upper lashlines and the half of your lower lashlines with a cream liner.

4) Using a smudge brush, smudge it up to where the silver is.

5) Dab a shader brush on to the blue e/s then apply on top of the cream liner.
6) Blend.
7) Apply the silver e/s on the inner corner of your eyes.

8) Apply your favorite highlight color.
9) Curl your lashes and apply mascara.

Pretty simple right? At least something different from my everyday look =D

I've finished almost all of my work yesterday so I have much much more free time today. I somehow don't like being idle. Crazy right? Why?

Coz I can't help but eat during these times...arrrghhh haha. I gained 2 lbs last week and I need to stop there haha.

Everyday 5 min. neutral look

A very easy neutral eye makeup you could wear daily for work or school which you can actually finish in 5 mins or less. Simple colors that can make you look fresh and alive all day =D

Step 1:

Apply an eyeshadow primer and blend it well on your eye lids.

I used P&J eyeshadow primer 02.

2) Using a big shader brush, apply a highlight color on your browbone.

I used the 2R2C on the Coastal Scents neutral palette.

3) Wet your shader brush then dip it to a brown eyeshadow of your choice. Doing this makes the color of your eyeshadow more vibrant and the staying power longer.

I used The Body shop Vitamin E face mist to wet the brush and CS palette again.

4) Apply the brown color on your eyelid. Then, blend it in an circular, upward motion making a diminishing effect above the crease.

5) Apply a liner on your upper lashlines. Using a smudge brush, top it with a darker brown e/s. Apply the same e/s on your lower lash lines.

6) Apply your favorite highlight color on the inner corner of your eyes.
7) Curl your lashes and apply mascara.

Ready for a new day =D

Ciao!
